Lack of enthusiasm from Council to introduce a strict framework for importation of cultural goods into European Union

Member States do not seem to be in any hurry to apply a harmonised framework for the importation of cultural goods into the EU in order to limit the illicit trafficking of works of art or archaeological finds.
