Over €300 billion are allocated to projects as part of cohesion policy, says Commission

In a statement published on Friday 7 September, the European Commission welcomed the fact that some €303 billion had been earmarked for projects within the framework of cohesion policy.

“The new data received from the member states show that cohesion policy implementation continues to speed up and to support economic growth everywhere in Europe”, the commissioner for regional policy, Corina Cretu, said on this occasion.
