13/07/2018 (Agence Europe) – The European Commission has forwarded the draft delegated act simplifying the aid greening provision of Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) to the European Parliament and Council. This relates to concrete implementation of the provisions that had been introduced as part of the agricultural section of the “omnibus regulation” which took effect on 1 January 2018. Such simplifications concern adaptation of the definition of permanent grasslands, an extension – to miscanthus and silphium perforliatum - of the list of plants authorised on surfaces of productive ecological interest, and conditions for the management of set aside with plants producing pollen or nectar.
