05/07/2018 (Agence Europe) – On 5 July, the President of the Tuscany Region, Enrico Rossi, launched a vibrant appeal to the President of the Italian Republic, European institutions and media to denounce the ideas held by the new Italian government, which are “against constitutional principles” and to fight for democracy and “against the racism” of the new government. In his letter, Mr Rossi highlights the processes that led to fascism in Italy in the 1930s, such as the wait-and-see attitude and silence from politicians and the masses. This is a phenomenon that he never wants to see repeated. Recently, the Region of Tuscany presented a paper that included a raft of major principles and objectives for migration management.
