António Campinos begins mandate as head of European Patents Office

03/07/2018 (Agence Europe) – The mandate of António Campinos as the President of the European Patents Office (EPO) was inaugurated on Tuesday 3 July. He takes over the reins from Benoît Battistelli. During his first speech as President, Mr Campinos said that he wanted to work towards strengthening deficiency of the processes for awarding patents, whilst guaranteeing the best possible quality.
