Slovenia to take Zagreb to Court of Justice over conflict around Piran Bay

19/06/2018 (Agence Europe) – On Monday 18 June, Slovenia's Prime Minister Miro Cerar announced his intention to take Croatia to the Court of Justice over the country's non-application of the ruling of the Permanent Court of Arbitration in the Hague, which attributes the main part of Piran Bay to Slovenia.  The Commission was informed in March of this potential legal action, in a letter from Slovenia activating Article 259 of the Treaty (see EUROPE 11983).  On 18 June, the Commission...
