At the Agriculture Council meeting in Luxembourg on Monday 18 June, numerous delegations gave their support to Spain following the decision by the United States to impose anti-subsidy and anti-dumping duties on Spanish table olives (see EUROPE 12041).
Agriculture ministers expressed concern at the impact that this measure could have on the European model where aid is decoupled from production.
