European Union condemns execution of Mohammad Salas

19/06/2018 (Agence Europe) – On Monday 18 and Tuesday 19 June, the European Union condemned the execution on Monday of Mohammad Salas, a 51-year old bus driver who was sentenced to death on Monday 19 March for the murder of three police officers during a demonstration of the Gonabadi Dervishes religious group, a minority persecuted in Iran.  His trial "raises serious questions about the respect for fundamental rights and due process", the spokesperson for the European External Action...
