Trade unions, NGOs and MEPs urge member states to reach a position on 'work-life balance' directive

On Monday 18 June, almost 20 MEPs, Presidents and Vice Presidents of the political groups, members of the European Economic and Social Committee, European Trade Union Confederation (ETUC), in addition to around 20 NGOs sent an open letter to the Ministers for Social Affairs. This letter calls on them to reach a general approach on the work life balance directive during the next Employment and Social Policy Council (EPSCO).
