Three countries called on to transpose nuclear safety directive

07/06/2018 (Agence Europe) – On Thursday 7 June, the European Commission sent a reasoned opinion to Belgium calling on it to transpose Directive 2014/87/Euratom on nuclear safety which should have been transposed by 15 August 2017. By that date, Belgium had given no notification to the Commission of its transposition measures. In December 2017, it received a letter of formal notice.
