Council reaches position on interoperability of electronic road toll systems

07/06/2018 (Agence Europe) – On Thursday 7 June in Luxembourg, EU Transport Ministers obtained a general approach on the draft directive on the interoperability of electronic road toll systems. As previously announced (see EUROPE 12026), this agreement is based overall on the European Commission's proposal presented on 31 May 2017 as part of the first mobility package (see EUROPE 11799).
