Majority of member states introducing reforms that respect rule of law principles

On Monday 28 May, the European Commissioner for Justice, Vera Jourova, presented the sixth EU Justice Scoreboard as part of the European Semester budget process. This scoreboard assesses the efficiency of the member states’ judicial systems. This year it also assessed, for the first time in a little more detail, the independence criteria of these legal systems and the reforms implemented in the member states.
