EU announces a further €42.5 million in aid

On Wednesday 31 January, High Representative of the EU for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Federica Mogherini announced the European Union would release a further €42.5 million to help the Palestinians.

"We have just adopted a new aid package of €42.5 million, including for activities in East Jerusalem", she announced ahead of the exceptional meeting of the ad hoc liaison committee (AHLC) in Brussels, attended by Norway's Foreign Minister Ine Marie Eriksen Søreide.
