Annual inflation down to 1.3% in Eurozone in January

31/01/2018 (Agence Europe) – The annual inflation rate in the Eurozone has been estimated at 1.3% in January 2018, down from 1.4% in December 2017, according to figures published by the statistical office of the European Union (Eurostat) on Wednesday 31 January. Looking at the main components of Eurozone inflation, energy is expected to have the highest annual rate in January (2.1%, compared with 2.9% in December), followed by food, alcohol & tobacco (1.9%, compared with 2.1% in December),...
