EU calls for institutions to be strengthened in fight against corruption

06/12/2017 (Agence Europe) – On Tuesday 5 December, the EU called on Ukrainian authorities to strengthen the work of Ukraine's institutions against corruption.  The calls comes at time when the General Prosecutor's Office in Ukraine seems to be on the warpath against the National Anti-corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU).  "Ukrainian authorities have to reinforce their efforts to ensure the independence, operational capacity and full effectiveness of the anti-corruption institutions....
