Finland wants considerable advance reduction of risks before any European Deposit Insurance System

10/11/2017 (Agence Europe) – The Finnish government will be prepared to move forward on creating a European Deposit Insurance System (EDIS) only when the banking sector risks have been reduced and pooled to a considerable and quantifiable extent, the ministerial committee tasked with drafting the Finnish government's position announced in a press release on Friday 10 November.
