The European Parliament would like to see harmonised rules that would make it easier for innovative, non-polluting organic fertilisers to be sold across the EU, as it showed in Strasbourg on Tuesday 24 October when it raised the level of environmental ambition of the proposal of March 2016 which seeks to amend the 2003 EU regulation on fertilisers (see EUROPE 11515).
