European Parliament sends election observation mission, headed by Željana Zovko

25/10/2017 (Agence Europe) – On Wednesday 25 October, the European External Action Service announced that, in response to an invitation by the Nepalese authorities, the EU has deployed an Election Observation Mission (EOM) to Nepal, led by Željana Zovko (EPP, Croatia), to observe the House of Representatives and provincial assembly elections scheduled for 26 November and 7 December 2017.  The Commission core team of 10 EU election analysts arrived in the country on 25 October.  On 3...
