Commission confident of finalising free-trade agreement by end of year

The European Commission is “confident” that “by the end of 2017” it will be possible to resolve the issues that remain pending – including that of investment – in negotiations on a free-trade agreement between the EU and Japan, a Commission source told EUROPE on Wednesday 25 October.
