European Parliament calls for proactive 2018 budget to tackle economic, social and migratory challenges

On Wednesday 24 October, the European Parliament discussed the cuts to the draft 2018 budget of the European Union proposed by the Council of the EU, coming out in favour of even greater ambition than the European Commission's initial proposal.
