The Maltese Presidency of the Council was given the go-ahead by the EU member states on Monday 26 June finally to conclude discussions with the European Parliament on the reform of legislation on organic farming. A final trialogue meeting of the three institutions will take place on Wednesday 28 June to close negotiations, leaving it to the incoming Estonian Presidency to implement the new text.
