UK Prime Minister Theresa May set out on Monday 26 May the British offer on the rights of European citizens living in the United Kingdom after Brexit, as she indicated she would do last week at the European summit (see EUROPE 11815 and 11814).
In a speech in the national parliament, May told the more than 3 million Europeans living in the country that the United Kingdom wanted them to remain after Brexit, which will happen, in theory, in March 2019.
