EBRD support for Tunisian SMEs via a Tunisian-French bank

26/06/2017 (Agence Europe) – On 22 June, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) announced it was granting the Tunisian-French bank 'Union Internationale de Banques' (UIB) a €49 million financing package for local companies.  The UIB is a subsidiary of the French bank 'Société Générale'.  "The package consists of a €40 million loan for on-lending to small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and a US$ 10 million trade finance line", an EBRD press release...
