Germany calls for Commission support for steel industry in US dispute

In a letter to European Trade Commissioner Cecilia Malmström on Friday 24 March, German Foreign Minister Sigmar Gabriel argued for the European Commission “unequivocally” to call upon the US Administration to respect WTO regulations in the anti-dumping investigation in the steel sector taking place in the United States that involves two German companies, Dillinger Hütte and Salzgitter AG.
