06/02/2017 (Agence Europe) – The International Air Carrier Association (IACA) believes that the agreement reached at the International Civil Aviation Organisation (ICAO) on a global market-based measure to tackle the sector’s CO2 emissions should persuade the EU to “focus on a smooth transition from the current EU ETS towards the … Carbon Offsetting and Reduction Scheme for International Aviation (CORSIA)” from 2021.
