Cazeneuve and Juncker intend to make being a third country less advantageous than membership of EU

At a meeting in Brussels on Monday 6 February, the French Prime Minister, Bernard Cazeneuve, and the President of the European Commission, Jean-Claude Juncker, agreed that once it leaves the European Union, the United Kingdom should not obtain a status that gives the impression that it is better for member states to be outside the EU than in it.
