MEPs critical of planned revision of financial regulation

At a joint meeting of the committee on budgetary control and the committee on budgets of the European Parliament on Wednesday 25 January, MEPs expressed criticism of the proposal to revise the financial regulation. This is the 'financial bible' on granting EU funds to member states and other beneficiaries (see EUROPE 11624).
