Linda McAvan re-elected chair of development committee

25/01/2017 (Agence Europe) – On Wednesday 25 January, British MEP, Linda McAvan (S&D, UK) was re-elected Committee Chair of the European Parliament Development Committee by acclamation. The vice chairs were also re-elected: 1st Vice-Chair Maurice Ponga (EPP, France), 2nd Vice-Chair Paavo Matti Väyrynen (ALDE, Finland), 3rd Vice-Chair Stelios Kouloglou (GUE/NGL, Greece), 4th Vice-Chair Nirj Deva (ECR, UK).
