18/01/2017 (Agence Europe) – On 17-20 January in Jakarta, Indonesia, the European Commission will begin the second round of negotiations with the Association of South East Asian Nations (ASEAN) in view of reaching a global agreement in the aviation sector. This is one of many negotiations in the sector that the Commission is heading as part of the “aviation” strategy (see EUROPE 11567). The Commission will also be holding negotiations with Qatar on 27-29 January. (PH)
