18/01/2017 (Agence Europe) – On Wednesday 18 January, the European Commission published its roadmap for the midterm review for its COSME programme, which seeks to improve company competitiveness, especially for SMEs (regulation 1287/2013). This assessment focuses on work programmes for the 2014-16 period, seeks to improve the implementation of the action supported and to prepare future activities and initiatives, particularly with regard to the next post-2020 Multiannual Financial Framework. The assessment began in December 2016 and is expected to be finished next October. (PH)
