'Foreign Affairs' Council. *Development: – Revision of the EU development policy on the basis of the Commission communication presented before the session. – Future of EU/ACP relations after the expiry of the Cotonou agreement in 2020. – Migration and development (situation report and initiatives in progress).
Brussels. Council of Ministers. 'Competitiveness' Council (and 29/11). – Seeking an agreement on the end of the geo-blocking of products and services in order to stimulate electronic commerce. – Discussions on a new space strategy for the EU (new commercial outlets offered by space data combined with various technologies). – Support for young scientists and researchers and making careers in science more attractive.
Brussels. European Parliament. Activities of the committees (to 01/12). – INTA: hearings of the participants in the framework of the monitoring of the youth initiative EYE 2016. – ECON: monetary dialogue with the President of the ECB, Mario Draghi (economic and monetary situation, consequences of Brexit for the Eurozone). – LIBE: examination, with members of the national parliaments, of the new Europol regulation, to enter into force in May 2017. – EMIS: hearing of the former Danish environment minister, Ida Auken, and debate with former rapporteurs of the EP on emissions from motor vehicles. ITRE: structured dialogue with the competent Commissioner, Günther Oettinger, on the Commission's initiatives for the digital single market.

IMCO, JURI: examination of the report on contracts for the provision of digital content (directive under preparation). – JURI: vote on the portability of digital content online; workshop on the implementation of the 'Mediation' directive. – REGI: vote on the European aid programme for national governments tackling institutional and administrative reforms; workshop on the ex-ante conditionality of the cohesion policies - ITRE, LIBE: hearings of the participants in the framework of the monitoring of the youth initiative EYE 2016. – ECON: economic dialogue with the President of the Eurogroup, Jeroen Dijesselbloem (European Semester 2017 and developments following the US elections); hearing on the theme "FinTech: the influence of technology on the future of the financial sector". – DEVE: Public hearing on good governance and the implementation of sustainable development goal no. 16 (peace, justice, rule of law and inclusive and responsible institutions). – ITRE: vote on the proposal to cap wholesale roaming charges. Hearing: "The future of the European research policy: taking stock and looking forward".

Conclusions: - C-544/15 (Fahimian – Rejection of a study application based on fears that an Iranian student may use skills acquired in the EU for abusive purposes in Iran); - C-598/14 P (EUIPO/Szajner – application for invalidity of the mark LAGUIOLE brought by the company Forges de Laguiole); - C-668/15 (Jyske Finans – is a bank asking a person born outside the country to provide an additional proof of identity as well as a driving licence discriminatory?).
