On a visit to Tokyo, the vice-president of the Commission with responsibility for employment, growth, competitiveness and investment, Jyrki Katainen, said on Tuesday 20 September that he was confident about the possibility of concluding EU-Japan free-trade negotiations before the end of 2016.
