12/05/2015 (Agence Europe) - Progress in at least 55% of by-country recommendations. The European Commission has observed “at least some progress” in implementation of 55% of all socio-economic recommendations made to the member states in 2014, said Commissioner with responsibility for the Euro Valdis Dombrovskis after the Ecofin Council on Tuesday 12 May. He did not hide, however, that these results were “not entirely satisfactory”. He said that the 2015 recommendations to be presented by the Commission on Wednesday would be better prioritised and more targeted. Following discussion in the Council, they are expected to be approved by the European Council in June. (MB)
