Brussels, 12/06/2014 (Agence Europe) - Morocco has announced that it will host two important technical events for the General Fisheries Commission to the Mediterranean (GFCM) which is attached to the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organisation (FAO) initiative.
The first will take place next February and will focus on aquaculture. Morocco underlined its determination to “effectively develop its aquaculture sector through its new specialist ANDA agency”. There will also be a workshop in April 2015 on satellite monitoring of vessels, as part of the fight against illegal, non-declared and unregulated fishing in this country. (FB)
