Foreign investors welcome in Indonesia. The share of foreign investment in the tourism sector in Indonesia may in future reach 100%, as long as Indonesian partners are brought on board in a joint venture, the Indonesian Ministry of Tourism and the Creative Economy announced in late April. Indonesia is a dream destination for tourism investors, with regions of strong development potential, and Indonesia wants to make the most of these opportunities, with foreign investors, whilst developing projects which respect the environment and the population, the Indonesian government stresses.
