Brussels, 23/01/2014 (Agence Europe) - On 23 January, the Commission decided to take Ireland to the European Court of Justice for failing to transpose the rules in the 2009 directive on promoting the use of renewable energy sources. This directive seeks to guarantee that 20% of green energy is included in the EU's primary energy consumption by 2020.
