Brussels, 23/01/2014 (Agence Europe) - Bulgaria and Slovenia, which continue in their non-respect of EU legislation on waste management despite several calls to order, are to be taken to the Court of Justice of the EU. This was decided by the European Commission on Thursday 23 January.
The Commission criticises Bulgaria for continuing to use 113 landfill sites which should have been closed by 16 July 2009 at the latest, in line with the deadline laid down in Directive 99/31/EC on landfill....
