Brussels, 08/10/2013 (Agence Europe) - The ministers and members of parliament from eight Arab countries (Algeria, Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon, Libya, Morocco, Palestine and Tunisia) met European Commissioner for Education, Culture, Multilingualism and Youth Androulla Vassiliou in Marseille on 6 October, on the sidelines of a forum organised by the ETF (European Training Foundation). Pervènche Beres MEP (S&D, France) who is head of the European Parliament's employment committee also took part. Vassiliou called for the quality of training to be improved so that it might facilitate young people's access to the labour market, a press release states. (FB/transl.fl)
