Brussels, 22/11/2011 (Agence Europe) - e-Curia is a new free multi-lingual (all official EU languages) service launched by the Court of Justice of the European Union on Monday 21 November. It is intended for the representatives of parties before the three courts (Court of Justice, General Court and Civil Service Tribunal). Henceforth all procedural documents may be exchanged electronically with the court offices by means of this secure application. Lawyers and agents for the member states and of the institutions, bodies, offices and agencies of the EU using this application will no longer have to submit procedural document in paper copy and will no longer have to produce certified copies of documents. The e-Curia application is a tangible demonstration of the institution's desire to make full use of the potential of information and communication technology to increase efficiency in the interests of those seeking justice.
