Council approves political agreement

Brussels, 14/12/2010 (Agence Europe) - On Tuesday 14 December, the General Affairs Council approved the trialogue (Council, European Parliament and Commission) agreement negotiated on 30 November on the implementing regulation for the European Citizens' Initiative (ECI). The European Parliament is expected to approve the text this Wednesday, 15 December by plenary session vote in Strasbourg.
