Gaston Franco chosen to set out EPP position

Brussels, 04/11/2010 (Agence Europe) - Gaston Franco (France) has been selected to set out the position of the European People's Party (EPP) on the future of tourism in Europe in the European Parliament industry committee. According to the MEP, “given the current economic difficulties, the scale and potential of this sector, it is time for the EU to give the political impetus needed to strengthen the competitiveness of member states' tourist industry and promote quality tourism”.
