Brussels, 14/09/2010 (Agence Europe) - With its judgments of Monday 13 September in Cases T-279/04 and T-452/04, the General Court of the European Union dismissed (Case T-279/04) a first appeal by the publishing firm, Editions Odile Jacob SAS, and confirmed the lawfulness of the Commission's authorisation decision of 7 January 2004, whereby the Lagardère group is authorised to purchase Vivendi Universal Publishing (VUP), subject to compliance with the commitment to sell assets.
