Brussels, 14/09/2010 (Agence Europe) - The first informal “trialogue” between the Council, Commission and European Parliament (EP) was held in Brussels on Tuesday 14 September to seek an agreement between the three institutions on the regulation implementing the Citizens' Initiative, one of the principle innovations of the Lisbon Treaty, designed to increase citizens' involvement in the legislative process in the EU.
