26/07/2010 (Agence Europe) - As expected (see EUROPE 10186), on Monday 26 July, the EU Council of Ministers adopted, without debate, a regulation which sets the total allowable catch (TAC) for anchovy caught in the Bay of Biscay during the period from 1 July 2010 to 30 June 2011 at 15,600 tonnes. 90% (14,040 tonnes) of the TAC will go to the Spanish fleet and 10% (1,560 tonnes) to the French.
