Court confirms fines imposed on five undertakings for taking part in cartels on the industrial threads markets

Brussels, 29/04/2010 (Agence Europe) - With the several rulings delivered on Wednesday 28 April (cases T-446/05, T-448/05, T-452/05 and T-457/05), the EU General Court confirmed the fines totalling € 23.44 million imposed on five companies for taking part in cartels on the industrial threads markets. However, it reduces the fine initially imposed on Belgian Sewing Thread from €980 000 to €856 800 for its cooperation during the investigation.
