29/04/2010 (Agence Europe) - The number of terrorist acts recorded in the EU fell by 33% compared to 2008 to reach 294 in 2009, the European organisation for police cooperation, Europol, announced on Wednesday 28 April. The large majority of such acts were prepared by separatist groups in Spain and France. Just one of the acts of terrorism noted by Europol was perpetrated by an Islamic group.
