29/04/2010 (Agence Europe) - Stefan Füle, Commissioner for Enlargement and Neighbourhood Policy, announced on Wednesday 28 April that the Commission will soon be presenting draft mandates with a view to negotiating association agreements (including a free-trade zone if conditions are met) with the three countries of South Caucasus: Georgia, Armenia and Azerbaijan. “Negotiating directives for association agreements with the South Caucasus countries will be presented for formal adoption at the Foreign Affairs Council on May 10”, Füle said addressing the foreign affairs committee of the European Parliament.
