29/04/2010 (Agence Europe) - The EP foreign affairs committee approved, on Wednesday 28 April, the draft resolution from Heidi Hautala (Greens/EFA, Finland), which underlines the importance of strengthening the visibility of human rights activists. The chairperson of the human rights subcommittee mainly calls on member states to develop a coordinated policy on the issuing of emergency visas for human rights defenders and members of their families.
