Commission to propose visa facilitation for Georgia

Brussels, 29/04/2010 (Agence Europe) - On 5 May, the European Commission is expected to suggest that an agreement be concluded with Georgia aimed at simplifying visa issuance for Georgian citizens wishing to enter the Schengen Area, as well as readmission agreements for illegal migrants. The proposal for a visa facilitation agreement is expected to allow visa issuance procedures to be speeded up for Georgian nationals.
