29/04/2010 (Agence Europe) - Dr Marc Sprenger, who is currently Director General of the Dutch National Institute of Public Health and the Environment (RIVM) will take up the post of Director of the European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control (ECDC) in Stockholm. He succeeds Zsuzsana Jakab, who, on 1 February, became Regional Director of the World Health Organisation (WHO). (O.J./transl.rt)
